Audiometry
Audiometry is a painless and safe test used to measure a person’s hearing thresholds — the minimum level of sound they can detect.
The test is conducted across both high and low frequencies and shows whether any hearing loss is present.
Our innovative, highly sensitive technologies — soundproof and acoustically isolated rooms — make it possible to determine which part of the auditory pathway has a problem.
In our Hearing Center, organized according to European standards, hearing examinations for people of all age groups are carried out by highly qualified audiologists.
How is the test performed?
1. The patient sits in a special soundproof room.
2. Special headphones are placed on the patient.
3. Sounds of different frequencies and intensities are played through a connected device.
4. When the patient hears a sound, they respond by pressing a button or giving a hand signal.
5. The test takes approximately 10–20 minutes.
6. The results are displayed as a graph called an audiogram.
Play Audiometry
Play audiometry is a special test method used to measure hearing ability in young children in a playful format.
As the name suggests, this test is performed in a fun and interactive way that captures the child’s attention.
Advantages of play audiometry in our clinic:
• Doctors and technical staff specially trained for working with children
• Completely soundproof booths and modern equipment
• Detailed results and consultation for parents
• Referral and fitting for hearing aids, if necessary
