Associate Professor Dr. Ramil Hashimli is a member of the European Union of Phoniatricians, the European Society of Laryngology, The Voice Foundation and the Middle Eurasian African Ear, Nose and Throat Society, and is the national coordinator of the European Union of Phoniatricians, the European Academy of Phoniatrics and World Voice Day.
Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Otorhinolaryngological Society, member of the "Council of Young Scientists" of the Aliyev Institute of Otorhinolaryngology. He is an associate professor at the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases named after A.Aliyev, the head of the "Sound Laboratory" and the "Sound Center" at the ENT Hospital Clinic. He is currently working on his doctoral dissertation.
His main scientific and medical activities are devoted to the study of acute and chronic diseases of the larynx, the etiopathogenesis of diseases found in vocal professionals, modern examination and treatment methods.
In 2012, he won a grant competition held by the Science Development Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan
In 2015, he took a course on "Diagnosis and Treatment of Voice Diseases" at the Ear, Nose and Throat Institute of the Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Disorders of the Voice Center of the Medical Institute of the University of Pittsburgh and the Cleveland Clinic. In addition, at various times, Turkey's Yeditepe University, Istanbul University, Faculty of Surgery Pasha Medical Faculty, Ankara Model Training and Research Hospital, Moscow Postgraduate Medical Education Academy participated in refresher courses in otorhinolaryngology departments.
He has presented papers at more than 50 international and local scientific congresses. He is the author of 62 scientific publications.
The '' APDVoice Patient Database '', developed jointly with a group of Azerbaijani scientists, has been presented by the European Union of Phoniatricians as a reference study program for phoniatric clinics.
